I have this curiosity going right now about these Breedlove mandos. I'm trying to figure out what dictates the price of each model. I look at the all the
A-style models with the different options (binding, nicer tuners, sunburst, etc.) and then I compare them to the other breedlove models that are basic and
I've found that most Breedlove mandoes can be obtained for under three grand or right around there.
More options equal more $$, I understand that, now we have this FF Quartz that sooo amazing. Everybody likes them beter than their OOs, OFs, etc and this mando is $1500 new in a HSC, a very reasonable price.
What do these earlier models have that make them worth more especially when they are Astyle (which usually are less expensive than a company's F-style, in most cases)?
I was really scratching my head while I was reading the lable inside my FF and noticing this baby is made in the USA. I have an Atlas acoustic and as nice as it is, that thing screams I WAS MADE OVER SEAS.. I was expecting the FF to have some sort of low end connection because of the price. Does any one out there have a comparison testimonial between an FF and an older A-stle quartz that cost them several thousand dollars?
