Help me learn about my guitar. |

Recently bought this used Breedlove 12 string at a garage sale. Don't know much about it, it was cheap enough I figured it was worth fooling around with
a 12 string for the first time. After doing a little research I'm trying to figure out what this guitar is worth when/where it was made etc... I
can't seem to find the model number listed online anywhere.

Breedlove SJ20/R.... S-Series Jumbo, deep body, no cutaway, Rosewood back and sides and probably a sitka spruce top. Built circa 99-00 right here in Tumalo,
Oregon. Rather wild to find a guitar like this at a garage sale... I am guessing you got a stupendous deal? Congrats!

Thanks for your quick reply. Now can anyone suggest the best place in Philadelphia to have my amazing sounding new Breedlove setup?

jordofilm wrote:Try Dave here: http://www.RGGmusic.com/ He's one of the forum members (forum name RGG music) here and also a Breedlove dealer. If he can't do the setup, he'll surely know where in Philly to get one done!!! Lucky you--this is probably the sort of thing we hear about all the time on Antiques Roadshow--somebody has what they percieve as just an old guitar sitting around, puts it in a garage sale, and voila, somebody gets LUCKY. Great story. About 25 years or so ago, I actually found a 1915 Gibson A-2 mandolin at one of those catch-all type auction places. There were 2 other bidders,
but I was the only one who really knew anything about mandolins, & I got it for $50. Needed the back reattached, but still a tremendous deal. Never dreamed
we'd part, but alas, life falling apart hard times suck.
Yours sounds like a great deal, congrats.
