Looking for a Revival OM Deluxe, mahogany or rosewood. Purchase or swap for a '70 Martin D-28 in near mint condition w/ original Victoria hardshell
case.
Thanks. Don |

Hi Don,
Welcome to the forum. The Revival Deluxe models are super guitars, particularly the OMs. I know of some new ones that are available, but used ones are few and far between. An OM-M sold on ebay a week ago for $1500, a ridiculously good deal. I should have bid...

Welcome to the forum. Good luck finding the OM. I don't see many come up used. So it might be a bit hard to find one but if you wait I'll bet one
will come along sooner or later.

I have the OMM-Deluxe Custom myself. I can't immagine selling it for $1500. You would be lucky to find another one at that price. They are supurb in
every way! I just put an LR Baggs M1 P in mine and it is just amazing plugged up! Happy hunting! I see several new on the web if you want one of those....

Hello, Caroli, I own The spruce/ Rosewood standard OM, everyone raves about the the deluxe, hope to hear one some day. I love the sustain on mine. BTW/
bltprf502. I looking to install a pick up. The m1 is a sound hole fit? can it handle harder stumming?

Oh yes it can handle most anything you throw at it. It is a superb P/U! It is also easy to insatall and does not mar the finish in the least. If you
don't mind a wire hanging out of the sound hole, you don't even have to make the insatll permanant. Even if you do, all it must have is the end hole
made to .5 inch and wella you can install it. Even if you go that route you can still take it out and use the 12 foot cord on another guitar if you don't
want to spend lots of $$$. It sounds good and even picks up top vibration if you do any percussive licks. I highly reccomend getting the LR Baggs Para
Acoustic DI box to go with it or ANY p/u. That makes a world of difference. If you want a great p/u for under $100, I would get the K&K mini western. I
have it on 2 others and it is a wonderful p/u. You can even blend the 2 if you want. Hope this helps!

Breedlove OM vs. Santa Cruz OM/PW | #7 | ||

Richard,
I see you have both a SCGC OM/PW and a Breedlove OMM Deluxe. I'm down to acquiring one or the other. Aside from the rosewood versus mahogany difference, if you could only keep one of them, which would if be and why? I'm also curious to know if there is a difference in weight between the two--I've heard the SC is lighter. Also, do you have any expereince with the Huss & Dalton OM? Thanks! Don |

I have the passive because I also use a LR Baggs Para DI box. Great combination.
