Sorry to say that I haven't. I have not been able to get to a music store for some time due to work and family health issues. I visited the Breedlove site
to check them out (for the bracing at least). But I didn't see anything there either. Good Luck on your quest.

Let's move this to the Ask section, maybe Devin can lend a hand here until we get some wet feet of which mine are dry at the moment.

Our new Retro series has been released in limited quantities and from what i hear has received a pretty good response. Retro series guitars are basically a
Revival style Atlas guitar, they are very traditional looking with a forward shifter X-bracing and pinned bridge. Like the Revival series these guitars come
without the bridge truss, currently there are 4 options available in this series. These options are either an OM body of Dreadnaught (both non-cutaway), with
a solid back and top and laminate sides, each body style is available with eaither Sitka/Mahogany or Engleman/Rosewood combination. One thing that we are
extremely exited about is the brand new LR Baggs Stage Pro pickup and preamp in these guitars, it sound awesome and has more options than the Fishman also each
one has a built in chromatic tuner. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any additional questions.

Steve,
How are things in Deming? Must be rough with the humidity? What kind of humidification do you do? I lived in Las Cruces for two years and remember a day when it got down to 8% humidity. I didn't know that was possible. |

MacNichol,
For about the last month its pretty much stayed between 6% and 8%, I was shocked last night when i looked at my guage and it 22%.....I use plastic soap boxes with 2 spounges in them in each case i also put a spounge in a ziplock with some holes punched in it in the soundhole of each guitar and i have a room humidifer in the room with my guits.Im pretty happy if i can keep the humidity between 35 and 45 precent and usually the best i can do is around 38 to 40 precent. I havent had any trouble . We should start getting a little humidity in the air around the end of june when the monson season starts and wont need to humidify as much. Did you like Cruces?

I see that Musician's Friend is offering the Atlas OMs in their latest catalog. I wonder if there's any chance that these might be produced in that
delightful new sunburst? THAT would be killer!
