Here's one of the top--I'm hoping Photobucket's IMG codes get photos on the forum. I'll have to post one at a time, computer problem..here goes.....
The first is the top. The wood isn't as deeply honey colored as the photo shows, and I have a closeup that clearly shows that. Anyway......my apologies for the flash glare......
Here's the closeup I mentioned. The top is a bit more honey colored than this, it was a very brightly lit morning when this photo was taken. I took it to show off the incredible finish work on this guitar, particularly the herringbone purfling and the "diamond" fretmarkers.
The tuners are Grover's. Again, my apologies for the flash glare, my camera, well, you know......
The simplicity of the head was another attractive feature:
Here's a photo of the Ziricote back. The sides are equally figured--due to the highly reflective nature of the finish, I can't seem to get a good photo of the sides with my SO's auto-focus digital camera, it always seems to focus on the background. There is none of the lighter colored wood on the sides, but otherwise they are very well bookmarked and equal visually to the back.
Here's one taken inside, a bit closer, I think it shows off the graining a bit better:
I'll post more info later, more photos, too. Dinner date, sorry, stay tuned.......
