Last week I had my first offical guitar lesson. I was pretty excited to finally bite the bullet and go. I get my guitar case all packed with anything and everything I think I could possibly need. I go outside to put the guitar in the back of my Durango. It's locked so I set the case upright against the rear bumper. I run in the house since I'm running late to drop the kids off and still get to the lesson on time. I remember the keys are actually in the passenger seat. I run back outside jump in start my truck and begin backing until I hear it.............Yep..........CRUNCH!

Horrified I run to the back of he truck expecting to see my guit in peices under my tire. To my amazement I open the case to find the guitar is unscathed. The case suffered some damage but it did it's job with honor. I managed to rip off the shoulder strap, really buggered up a buckle, and the edge of the case was crushed. How the guitar managed to survive without a scratch.

I was sick to my stomach for hours aftwards
