PRO or ATLAS |

I am a proud owner of an atlas AC25CM plus"black magic" I love my Breedlove and the way she feels and plays. Latly I've been thinking about
trading her in for a PRO series. I like the way the Pro looks more like an actual Breedlove, and I am not sure if I'll ever be able to afford a custom in
my lifetime. Does anyone know if there is realy that much of a difference in the two guitars to spend the extra money.

Can't speak much about the atlas.....but I can tell you the c25 pro series is one great guitar.....I have one and fall in love just a little more every
day......I can tell you it stands up to the upper end Breeds, with this wood combo..very favorably...it is a little heavier in weight and even tho I'd
love to move up the scale a little with a custom....If I never get to...Im still happy. frank

Pro is definitely worth the extra money -- AAA-grade all solid woods, single piece neck, Gotoh tuners. The Pro pretty much feels like a custom shop guitar.
It's not an Ed Gerhard Signature Model Exotic or a CM Classic, but it's definitely not a production guitar.

Both built in Korea. The difference is the Pro is FINISHED in the USA. The woods and appintments are much nicer on the Pro. zi have had both and like both
for different reasons.

Beyond appearance they are different grades of wood. I would suggest playing them both one after the other. If your Atlas still feels the best and sounds the
best to you then stay with the Atlas. Having played both I would go with the Pro but that was my ears and not your. I also like the appearance better so it
would be a Pro for me.
For my needs and wants I think the Pro is very definitely worth the extra money. However, I have an masterclass and also think it is worth the extra money so each to their own. ragtime man |

sound hole inlay on Atlas? | #7 | ||
|
I just got my Atlas 12 string. I really love the thing! Yup, It was an Ebay buy but it's in perfect shape for a 2006 model 250. But I've got a
question: The inlay around the sound hole... Is it Inlay or some kind of tape? I can't tell? It sure looks good, and is smooth with the surface of the
guitar.
I can't wait to try out a Pro model. The way this 12 string is in quality, the Pro must really be something else!!

Scooter,
It's probably an abalone inlay. It is definitely not tape! |

I agree with advice to play them and compare the tones. I have and like the cedar/rosewood in the Pro c25. The Atlas is a great guitar as well as the Pro.
They have characteristic Breedlove tone and styling. The difference is to my ears that the Pro is a closer representation to the custom. I didn't mention
looks because that is not a big factor to me as long as the it's is fairly decent looking peice.

I remember the Pro simply outplaying (my opinion) a Martin with same woods. When comparing at that level I would say the Pro is a deal compared to a much pricier brand, (again no offense, my opinion). |
