Hey Fellow Babies (Sorry. watching a WKRP rerun). I got into Santa Rosa on Sunday night (We left Kansas City Saturday morning at 6:30am), and with tag-team
driving, we weren't tired of anything at all -except the car, that is -lol. Guitar is doing well, and I miss my home here. I wanna come back to Northern
California!
I think my husband wants to as well.
Anyway, we're going to do Bodega Bay, hit the vineyards, and drive by the Lucas Ranch to let him know what a sell out he's become (I've been doing that since the third installment of Star Wars).
I'm hoping we'll have time to head up to Oregon, as our favorite bed and breakfast is the Ashland Inn, which is about 10 miles from Crater Lake? I don't think we'll have time for the rafting, but who knows? Maybe I can convince him to give up an extra day of work.
Either way, we have to be back in the middle of the U.S. by the 10th. It may appear to be a rush vacation, but it's not, really. We enjoy the drive and the photography scenery. We've never been one for the whole tourist - let's buy a t-shirt, hat, mug and the authentic arrow head - thing.
I'm supposed to lead worship at my friends church on Sunday...getting the jitters, but I'm doing it. I wish I was better at the whole deadening the strings thing (does that make sense?).
