Hello, Has anyone experienced this? I was tuning a new G on the om and when I reach a certain point it clicks and the gear{worm} seams to jump. looks as if it
has some play in it. Thanks,

Is the screw tight on the worm gear? You may need to reduce the tension of the gear by loosing the string and then check the screw on the worm gear. I
don't know if that is it but it is the first thing I would check. I would also look for a chip in the gear as you twist it to tighten up the string again.
I am sure you could call Breedlove and they would tell you what to check also. I don't own a Revival OM but I am just trying to think what it could be. ragtime man |

If you call Dod at Breedlove he could send you a new tuner. For that matter you could send him the guitar and he could go over it to make sure all is ok while
he is addressing the tuner issue. Dod is a great guy and always wants to make sure issues are taken care of....especially with a custom shop instrument. Give
him a shout! This time of year is not a great time to ship guitars because its so cold and cracks could occur. Keep that in mind!!!!!

I have read several threads in other forums about this happening with the Grover Stat-Tite open gear tuners. I witnessed this same thing happen on a brand new
Revival Deluxe dread in a local shop. The good news is that is should be an easy fix to replace a single tuner. I believe Grover has may have recently improved
these tuners (not sure about this though). Good luck!
