So if you were to contemplate electrifying the sound of your Breeddlove...just a "practice amp" for your music room at home......10W-50W max. and
short money. I've have heard good things about the Ultrasound AG-30, but are there others I should look at?

I have a Roland AC-60, which (in my very limited knowledge) is a great little acoustic amp. I have also heard consistently great things about the Ultrasound
amps.

Hello;
I have a Fender Acousticsonic Jr.... I was able to line up the Roland, Bose, Mesa, Crate and Fender all in a row at GC and play each one in succession. The Fender was the most neutral and realistic of them all.... Of Course all the controls and effects were set to neutral... Sam Baker

I was pretty fond of the SWR California Blonde I had. Should of never sold it. You can still find them on ebay anywhere from $400 to $800. I think they
reproduce the acoustic sound more realistic and without alot of bell and whistle knobs to turn than any thing out there.

Jeez, not fa noth'in, but Roland, Carvin, Cal Blondes...these are all top shelf gear which you guys justifiably demand, but waaaay out of the price range I
was thinking of. Are you saying that $200 for a 30w Ultrasound AG-30 is throwing money away? I just want to reproduce and amplify the sound of my guitar (w/o
enhancement) in my home as best I can for short money. I see little cube thingys, 5-10w for <$100...practice amps I think they're called, but I assumed
they were aimed at electric guitar players. I just thought it would be a pleasant diversion to amplify once and a while to break the boredom of constant
finger exercises, which is basically 90% of my practice time these days..

Look for a deal on ebay for a nice one, I know you can find one Rock. Just keep your eyes peeled. There are some good sellers out there who use no reserves or
don't try to milk every last drop from an item they are trying to move. I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya too.

Rocky....You might want to consider looking into a small PA. You can pick these up more reasonable than amps most of the time. Look at GC or MF. I've seen
small systems from Kustom.....Was my first PA and sounded good at moderate volumes....for under a couple hundred bucks. A PA system is probably going to give
you the truest acoustic sound for the buck. Plus you can run a mic and sing thru it right along with your guitar. Give the family a show!! You should...in my
opinion and if it's possible.....try to go with something that you won't regret spending $$$ on. I wanted to try a wireless guitar system not to long
ago so I picked up an inexpensive one. Hate It!! Should have save a few more dollars and went better. I'll be putting it on ebay soon and loosing money on
it. Good luck with the search.
